Gemini ~

Building financial security may not be the most important thing on your agenda, yet now you are becoming more interested in tucking some money away for a rainy day. Don’t try to change everything overnight; if you do, it won’t last. Instead, look at the months ahead as an opportunity to put extra work toward growing your savings and increasing the value of what you own.

Taurus ~

You have the advantage now, for when everything appears to slow down, you feel better about yourself and what you are doing. Your determination is nurtured when you aren’t pushed along by the tides of change too quickly. Nevertheless, there isn’t time to be lazy. You have lots to do and the sooner you start, the quicker you’ll be about to kick back and relax.

Penis size increasing?

Filed under: General Stuff — slimpickins @ 7:36 pm

Check this out…. Is it just me or does it seem that men are getting bigger and us women are staying the same?? Or are SCientific studies just getting that much better??

Taken from:

Several scientific studies have been performed on the erect length of the adult penis. Studies which have relied on self-measurement, including those from Internet surveys, consistently reported a higher average length than those which used medical or scientific methods to obtain measurements.[citation needed]

  • A study published in the September 1996 Journal of Urology concluded that average erect length was 12.9 cm (5.08 in) (Measured by staff).[6] The purpose of the study was to “provide guidelines of penile length and circumference to assist in counseling patients considering penile augmentation.” Erection was pharmacologically induced in 80 physically normal American men (varying ethnicity, average age 54). It was concluded: “Neither patient age nor size of the flaccid penis accurately predicted erectile length.”
  • A study published in the December 2000 International Journal of Impotence Research found that average erect penis length was 13.6 cm (5.35 in) (Measured by staff).[7] Quote: “The aim of this prospective study was to identify clinical and engineering parameters of the flaccid penis for prediction of penile size during erection.” Erection was pharmacologically induced in 50 Jewish Caucasian patients who had been evaluated for Erectile dysfunction (average age 47±14y). Patients with penis abnormalities or whose ED could be attributed to more than one psychological origin were omitted from the study.
  • A study conducted by LifeStyles Condoms found an average of 14.9 cm (5.9 in) with a standard deviation of 2.1 cm (0.8 in) (Measured by staff).[8] The purpose of this study was to ensure properly sized condoms were available. 401 college students volunteered to be measured during 2001 Spring Break in Cancún, Mexico, of which 300 gained an erection to be clinically measured (without pharmacological aid). Some of these factors may meet the definition of possible sample bias.[9]

Q: My dick is 6 inches long. Is that small? Or is it average? How large is the average dick?
A: Here are the statistics on erect penis lengths for white college men, in quarter-inch lengths measured by The Alfred C. Kinsey Institute for Sex Research (from the point where the penis meets the body along the top to its tip):

percent length
0.2 percent 3.75 inches
0.3 percent 4 inches
0.2 percent 4.25 inches
1.7 percent 4.5 inches
0.8 percent 4.75 inches
4.2 percent 5 inches
4.4 percent 5.25 inches
10.7 percent 5.5 inches
percent length
8 percent 5.75 inches
23.9 percent 6 inches
8.8 percent 6.25 inches
14.3 percent 6.5 inches
5.7 percent 6.75 inches
9.5 percent 7 inches
1.8 percent 7.25 inches
2.9 percent 7.5 inches
percent length
1 percent 7.75 inches
1 percent 8 inches
0.3 percent 8.25 inches
0.3 percent 8.5 inches
0.1 percent 8.75 inches
0.1 percent 9 inches

(note: 1 inch = 2.54 cm, 0.25 inch = 0.635 cm)
Here the same data in some other from:

So the average penis length is 6.16 inches.
The average girth is 4.84 inches.

More recent studies have produced the following results:
A sample of 60 men studied by researchers at the University of California at San Francisco determined that the average size of their erect penises was 5.1 inches long and 4.9 inches in girth. A Brazilian urologist who measured 150 men reported that the average size of their erections was 5.7 inches long and 4.7 inches in girth.

Facts about penis size

Written by Dr David Delvin, GP and family planning specialist and Christine Webber, psychotherapist

Average penis lengthA non-erect penis usually measures between 8.5cm and 10.5cm (3-4 inches) from tip to base. The average figure is about 9.5cm (3.75 inches), but this kind of precise measurement is rather valueless. Many factors can cause a temporary shrinkage of two inches or more, for instance cold weather or going swimming, so you needn’t worry if you happen to fall short of the average figure.Of course, it’s true that some men have big penises and some have smaller ones, just as some men have small feet and some have big feet, but the measurement is not – repeat not – an index of virility. Most people think that a tall man will usually have a large penis, but this is not true. The distinguished American researchers Masters and Johnson measured the penile lengths of more than 300 men.

  • The largest organ was 14 cm (5.5 inches) in the flaccid state. It belonged to a slim man who was 5′ 7″ tall (170 cm).
  • The smallest penis measured 6cm (2.25 inches). It belonged to a fairly heavily built man of 5′ 11″ (180cm).

It’s also worth pointing out that there is no correlation between penile size and race.Average size of erectionsWe’ve talked about the length of the penis in its ordinary non-erect state, but how long should it be when it’s erect?Interestingly, most penises are very much the same size when erect.

  • The man whose non-erect penis is smallish will usually achieve about a 100 per cent increase in length during sexual excitement.
  • The man whose non-erect penis is on the largish size will probably manage about a 75 per cent increase.
  • This means the great majority of penises measure between 15cm and 18cm (6-7 inches) when erect, with the average figure being about 16.5cm (6.5 inches).

So you can see that even if a man has got a ‘small’ penis, he’s got a built-in compensating factor that will bring him up to about the same size as the guy who appears to be ‘better equipped’ in the shower room. Sex and womenVirtually every man forgets that it doesn’t matter how long or how short your penis is, because the vagina will accommodate itself to any length.

  • The vagina of a woman who hasn’t had a child is only 7.5cm (3 inches) long when she’s not sexually excited. The figures for women who have had babies are only slightly different.
  • Even when aroused, a woman’s vagina usually extends only to a length of about 10cm (4 inches).

This means any man’s penis will fill her vagina completely, unless you happen to be one of those rare guys with an erect penile length of less than four inches. You’re probably now wondering how the average man with an erection of six inches manages to insert his penis into the vagina at all.The vagina has the most remarkable capacity for lengthening if something is introduced into it gradually. So the exceptional man whose erect penis is eight inches long can still make love to any woman, providing he excites her properly and introduces his organ very slowly. If he does this, her vagina will lengthen by 150 or 200 per cent to accommodate him.

Gemini ~

Your thoughts pull you all over the map today as your key planet Mercury is electrified by high frequency Uranus. This mental buzz, however, is not enough to destabilize your feelings now, for you are able to detach your thoughts from your emotions. Intellectual freedom is wonderful, but don’t let your excitement override your physical needs.

Taurus ~

People may share their problems with you now, and as much as you want to help, the complexity of their dilemmas can be overwhelming to you. You won’t be of much assistance to them if you are off-center, so make use of the Moon’s return to your sign by getting in touch with your feelings first. You’ll be better equipped to counsel someone else later.

So, today has been a strange day to start with. Things have been hectic with training of our team and whatnot. I have not had a meeting with my boss in about 2 weeks (regarding how things are going, etc.)

Today she asks me to come and sit with her. She asks how I like it here and thanks me for all my hard work. Then she says “would you like to stay past Oct. 19? With your permission I wanted to put in a request to extend you. You would be covering so-and-so’s job while they are on maturnity leave, learning reconcilliations of accounts and it would mean more overtime come month ends. I would like to ask for the extention to cover into March.”

Of course I said, “Yes, I would love to continue working with the team and as a part of Concur.” She says I will keep you updated, but I wanted you to be a par tof this decision. Once the approval comes through I will let you know

Gemini ~

Your powers of concentration are getting better, but you will need to be able to create necessary boundaries with a close friend or lover. You are more open now to following others if it looks like they are having fun, but this isn’t the best course of action. Narrow your mental focus while you can to establish a deeper connection

Taurus ~

With Mercury in your 7th House of Partners, you are more ready now to pursue a discussion about relationship issues that you have been avoiding. The dynamics for this talk have been set up over the past weeks, and now that the energy is moving into another phase, you realize how important it is to talk about what’s going on. Even if this is the case, don’t say more than required yet.

New Species Discovered…

Filed under: General Stuff — slimpickins @ 4:13 pm

Now this is sooo cool. I want one, of all of them. 🙂

 Taken From :

(see pics at bottom)

HANOI, Vietnam – Scientists have discovered 11 new species of plants and animals in Vietnam, including a snake, two butterflies and five orchid varieties, the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) said Wednesday.

The new species were found in a remote region known as the “Green Corridor” in Thua Thien Hue province in central Vietnam, it said.

“You only discover so many new species in very special places, and the Green Corridor is one of them,” Chris Dickinson, WWF’s chief technical adviser in the region, said in a statement.

The new snake species, the white-lipped keelback, generally lives close to streams and eats frogs and other small animals, WWF said. It has a yellow-white stripe along its head, red dots over its body and can reach a length of 31.5 inches.

The new butterfly species are among eight discovered in Thua Thien Hue since 1996. One is a “skipper,” a butterfly that flies in a quick, darting motion. It is from the genus Zela. The other is from a new genus in the subfamily Satyrinae.

Three of the new orchid species are leafless, which is unusual for orchids, WWF said.

The other new plant species include one in the aspidistra family, which produces a black flower and can subsist in low light, and an arum, which produces yellow flowers surrounded by funnel-shaped leaves, it said.

“It’s great news for Vietnam,” said Bernard O’Callaghan, Vietnam program coordinator for the World Conservation Union. “The jungles and mountains of Vietnam are fascinating places and they continue to surprise scientists.”

All the new species are exclusive to tropical forests in Vietnam’s Annamites mountain range, which offers unique habitats.

All species in the area are under threat from illegal logging, hunting and development.

Many threatened species live in the Green Corridor, including the white-cheeked crested gibbon, one of the world’s most endangered primates.

Million Dollar Quartet

Filed under: General Life Updates — slimpickins @ 3:11 pm

So last night Chrissey and I went into the Village Theatre in Issaquah, WA to experience the musical Million Dollar Quartet. Now neither of us had heard of it before, but boy are we glad we went. It was absolutely amazing and I would love to see it again if I could come up with the money. We each left with a guitar pick as a momentum of the evenings events.

I would highly recommend, everyone going to see it (if you like rock n’ roll). to inquire more about schedule and ticket prices.

Brief synopsis of the play:

On December 4, 1956, at Sun Studios in Memphis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley came together for the first and only time. They rocked the house…then rocked the world! Part jam session, part bull session, and chock full of rock-n-roll classics from the 50s, this unforgettable new musical will have you dancing in the aisles.

Gemini ~

Others may depend on you today to show them what they don’t know, but you might not want to put out the required energy. Your apparent lack of interest may be upsetting to a coworker, but you aren’t particularly concerned about it. Don’t let your cavalier attitude get in the way of cooperation. You can get involved without over-committing, which will allow your excitement level to return soon enough.

Taurus ~

Although you may be involved in a team project at work, your heart may not be fully in it. Holding yourself back for a while is a smart idea that can prevent you from blindly following others. Pay attention to your needs and don’t give in to peer pressure, even if you feel frustrated.
